Over its operating history, the association has played a vital role in bridging communication between higher education institutions, licensing boards, and active practice environments. By organizing annual educator conferences, peer-led research forums, and clinical calibration workshops, the organization has consistently elevated the quality of dental hygiene instruction across community colleges, health science centers, and universities from Dallas-Fort Worth to Houston, San Antonio, and West Texas.
